Apologies, that was awful. Starting a blog and then just not updating at all. Bad blog etiquette. Bad designer etiquette. This ends now.

Hopefully now I’ll be producing work regularly enough to put it up here, so that every single one of the two people who look at this blog will get to see my work. And here’s hoping Richard does the same. Plus getting set an essay for our course has given me writing fever, so when I’m in a more creative mood, I’ll probably not only upload the work from the first Unit, but also write a more lengthy post, about the work and all that.

But until then, I’m going to continue to sit here and act as if I’m doing research for this essay. Eager.

A Favour…

It’s been a whole month of my new life so far, and I’m just about settling in. One thing slipped my mind the other day via a friend from back home forcefully asking why I hadn’t uploaded any photo’s from Falmouth yet. I then went and checked my facebook page and he was right, I hadn’t added any new photo’s in so long. I’d been a bit busy you see.

So while on an adventure at the weekend into Falmouth town to meet up with Tim and go beer festivalling, I decided that I would document my bus journey with photo’s. It would seem that fate was on my side, providing me with a lovely two story public transport machine.

So I guess here is it, my journey to Falmouth every morning.

I understand that the last few photo’s were not taken on the bus, but I feel like I needed to throw them in to get them out of the way. If you like you can imagine they were and that the journey ended with falling into the water, and a bus can climb stairs.

Excuse the hosting method, I’m working on getting some paid for hosting by the time I’m back from my christmas break.

Well, not really a challenger, so much as the other blogger, Tim. Hey.

Not really got a lot to say, more just testing out the whole blogging from different accounts, Richard pretty much covered the intro.

Well anyway, look forward to when we actually post work. Do it. Start looking forward.

I’m not sure how to start this, but we’re a couple of students half way through our first unit at University College Falmouth. It’s been a pretty hectic start and I’ve (Richard) been trying to settle into the new environment, you know… learning how to wash clothes and feed myself. As independence goes, it’s a pretty steep learning curve for me.

We’re going to try and get posting and get some work up ASAP, our next unit is typography, we’ve just been through a couple of general design practises, looking at the general design process and easing ourselves into a nice quick flow of design.

This unit is divided into 5 one week projects, the first being ‘My First…’ where we had to design a spread about one of our first experiences: riding a bike for example, or first time abroad. Our second week, was based around researching a letter or a number and then producing a piece on it. I don’t know the situation on uploading the work for the previous units. I’ll see what Tim thinks.

This blog will essentially be a combination of our college projects, personal projects and any interesting and exciting things in the world design or not that we want to share with you. I hope that you find most of the articles interesting and to your tastes or distastes.

Keep yo’ eyes freshly peeled.
